Before anyone rants on me, I am not an atheist. I was baptized Catholic and I do believe in God. I have no idea why but maybe because I know at some point, we just really have to believe in something. I assume that everything must have come from a certain thing so I guess sometimes we really have to consider a higher being.
I am not trying to dissuade anyone from his or her own opinions about life. Some people love having a religion in their lives, and some need their faith to help them go through the hard times. Some just simply believe, but some believe just because they do not want the responsibility of their adversities weighing down on their shoulders.
This is what I’m really confused about people. They believe in religion, they believe in God. Some believe in the idea of fate- that everything is already planned out. In other words, everything we have done, are doing now, and will do, can’t be changed in any way. What confuses me is if we believe in this, what’s the purpose of decision making?
If we take this concept and expand on it, it is really mind-boggling. If, somehow, you were to know every little thing that will happen to your life, does this mean that everything has no way of changing? If this is the case, don’t you think free will is just an illusion? Do we just seem to have choices, but in actuality, there is an unavoidable path? Is free will just something we created? To feel more in control?
We receive praise when doing something good and we get blamed or punished when we do something bad. If we had a pre-determined destiny, then what are we still accountable for?

it is still our free will that makes us decide but also, these decisions are already planned by God. every move has already its own pathways. Still the consequences we face are still planned.. :D
