“I felt for sure last night, that once we said goodbye, no one else will know.”

It was there, but not long enough. It was fleeting. Just a glimpse, and they were losing it. 

She had all the time she needed, but was she able to use it to make better of herself?

Was she able to face the things she has been running from or did she run away from them yet again?

She was content with what’s going on with her life. She got everything she ever wanted. Everything went well despite the turn of events. But, she knew there was still something missing. And then, he came along. And, she realized that she doesn’t have everything..yet.

You’ll sit alone forever, if you wait for the right time, what are you hoping for?

She wanted him. She wanted more. But now, she doesn’t have either.

They should’ve done something before things got worse. But now there’s nothing much they can do. Everything was like water slipping through their fingers. No matter how much they tried for things to work out, well, at some point, it just didn’t. 

Things are finally becoming more clear. And little by little, they were fading.

Is this the end? Is this closure? Maybe, or maybe not.

And in the midst of uncertainty, she thinks, “If I only believed in us like he did.”

“Holding on tight, don’t give away the end, the one thing that stays mine.”
